A passionate, soulful voice combined with rock star looks makes Sheri Nadelman the real deal. This native New Yorker's quick wit and wicked sense of humor gives her the ability to connect with her audience. Her genuine down to earth personality radiates warmth making people feel comfortable. It doesn't take long to see that she has what it takes to shine both on and off the stage.
Sheri studied voice in NYC and was quickly “discovered” after her vocal coach set up an audition for a team of collaborators, including producer Joe Sherman. She was offered a solo album record contract after that very successful audition. Unfortunately, the financial backing fell through and the album never came to fruition. As Sheri puts it, “Sometimes we make plans and life gets in the way.” Sheri's life would take a different direction and so her show business career was put on hold. She traveled a bit, started a family and before long settled in the Tampa Bay area.
Never without her guitar, Sheri played and sang to whoever would listen. Her “aha moment” came when a girlfriend urged her to get up and sing at a local open mic night. That night changed her life. Sheri found herself back on the stage realizing that is where she felt comfortable and belonged. It wasn't long before other musicians would come to sit in with her during her solo performances and word got out about this powerful voice.
Sheri sang in a variety of duos and acoustic bands before going electric and ultimately evolving into the band which is now “Sheri and the Vision”. Surrounding herself with incredibly talented musicians has allowed her to take her own dynamic talent to the next level. Sheri and the Vision has truly been a labor of love and she couldn't be more proud! You can hear the passion in her voice!
