D-15 announcement
D15, is a smoking hot rock band based out of Sarasota. Fronted by identical Twins Joe and John Craciun, with Joe on rhythm guitar and lead vocal, and Brother John on lead guitar and back-up vocal. Kirk Shivell, on bass and back-up vocals, and Craig Schlotterback, on drums. The buzz that sets D15 apart, is their relationship with their Fans. A relationship built around respect, love, and true friendship. Every soul they play to shows up at the following gig with drooling eyes and thirsty ears. The inseparable twins have been perfecting their skills for years as they moved across the country with their parents during their preteen years. On settling in Sarasota in their early teens, they continued playing and writing music in all genres. In 2007 the Craciuns' former band Zainy and Kirk and Craig's former band Mindseye quickly morphed into one band – D15. The name came from their practice site: a storage locker, D15. The band started writing phenomenal music, moving on to winning several battles of the bands, both in Tampa and Sarasota, and becoming one of the most popular and prolific rock and heavy metal bands in the area. When not performing, Joe, John and former Eagle Scout Kirk work at the YMCA with young kids. This experience has forged a positive message of friendship, values, understanding and love, which has become the foundation for their music. The Fan base has grown to hundreds fast. D15 is now ready to take its music and its dignified message to the rest of the world. – And to take its place among the elite of all music.
