A little Bio
Dan Rixon is an up and coming artist who is making his mark on a new and thriving Suncoast original music scene. Heavily influenced by the Beatles and Pink Floyd, Dan is attempting to bring the elements of classic rock and combine them with a completely modern sound to create a haunting melodic landscape. Dan started playing guitar at age 15. His efforts and relentless passion for the instrument eventually landed him an opportunity to study at the world renowned Berklee College of Music. The intricate application of music is apparent in his independently released CD “In My Head”, which weaves layered vocal harmony with driving grooves to produce a sonic piece of art. With his outstanding musical talent, Dan Rixon has a bright future lit by the power of his imagination and creativity.
